British Columbia Photos
Last updated: Monday, March 06, 2000.

Now that I've got a little hand scanner around, I thought I'd put a few more pictures online. The theme of this set is "Why I like British Columbia."

In 1996, when I lived in Gage Tower at UBC, this was the view from the living room window each night.

In 1995, a friend and I went on a hiking trip in the Stein Valley.

I think it was in the same year that I went to the beauuuuuuutiful Lake Garibaldi.

This is the same lake, but viewed from higher up. The colour didn't come out quite right... it should be that elusive shade of turquoise that only glacier-fed lakes can have.

And of course, there's my meditation picture on top of Black Tusk moutain.

For comparison, I have included a photo from my hometown of Kingston, Ontario. The comparson isn't quite fair, however... this picture is from my back yard after Ice Storm 98.
