One-Shot Active Triangulation

Introduction

We implemented a 3D shape capture method where a range image is constructed from a single photograph of a scene. This is done by projecting a grid onto the object to be captured. Once the camera and projector are calibrated (which can be done using the same image if enough is known about the scene), the 3D position of each projected grid point can be determined.
